Meetings are the third Thursday at 6 p.m. A  public workshop is held the second Thursday at 6 p.m.

POLICE OFFICER

City of Victor, small rural mining community; population 400, is seeking full time Officer.  Salary range $26,000-$28,000.  Attractive benefit package including: health, vision, optional dental; sick leave and paid vacation.  Performs a wide variety of  law enforcement duties: High School Diploma or GED; must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Drivers License, clean driving record; U.S. Citizenship, No Felony or serious Misdemeanor Convictions. Position requires demonstrated leadership, excellent communication skills, integrity, and community service orientation.  Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Co. Drivers License, Clean driving record; Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement related field or equivalent experience; Colorado POST Certification required. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years law enforcement experience at rank of sergeant or higher. Salary range is $30,000 to $35,000 depending on qualifications.
