Artist Cherry Hunter was a long-time resident of Victor, capturing the mining scenes around the gold camp on paper and canvas. She was active in the community and helped build the Trails of Gold alongside friends and family. She passed away suddenly in November 2004, but will always be remembered for her beautiful art depicting the gold mining history of the Victor area.

Ed Hunter is a retired mining engineer who has spent years researching the history of the mining district.

This series of pen and ink drawings was commissioned by the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company in 1987. CC&V has granted permission for the reproduction of the prints as a fund-raiser to support the historic interpretation and education efforts of the Southern Teller County Focus Group.

The prints can be purchased with brief histories by Ed Hunter framed or unframed. They can also be purchased individually as each of them are released for sale.

A portion of your purchase is a tax deductible donation to the STCFG, which is a non profit 501c3 organization.
